There is so much to learn from the stories of people who fought cancer. Probably the most important task for me has been talking to all sorts of people across the world; how are they affected by their cancer medication? What are the barriers and bottlenecks? There is no better way to truly understanding the scope, impact, and even the blind spots in the industry Some major ones are being solved by GRAIL Something I am especially concerned by: drug resistance screening especially post-“complete remission” in cancers that are epigenetically driven like blood cancer It makes me wonder if more international approaches - even in the form of surveys with better questions to oncologists and patients across continents - would be necessary.
