1. The world is small, especially during large events like Token2049.
Yesterday, while chatting with some project partners at the Four Seasons, a "regular person" kept leaning towards me. I later found out that they were from an exchange; the world is indeed small.
2. Protecting privacy is very important. Although I don't advocate for this kind of friendship, exposing someone else's privacy, especially chat content, feels a bit wrong to me. This time, it seems like the right thing to do, but if the person was discussing other topics, it wouldn't be good. Those with conditions should stick to business class, or avoid writing overly private matters on the plane.
3. This is a very serious invasion of privacy. It is the unauthorized disclosure of someone else's private communication, which is a criminal offense in both the United States and Singapore. If I were the person involved, I would sue; this kind of case is a guaranteed win, especially if the person who filmed is KYC verified (Twitter Blue check). If sued, Twitter will provide information.
Be cautious when consuming gossip, and don't get yourself caught up.
