Morpho Vaults V2 is a cool deployment. Currently, since the Markets V2 isn't live, they are going to provide liquidity to Vaults V1 and Markets V1. Markets V2 will introduce fixed-rate and fixed-term lending, but that's coming soon! The curator model is upgraded through this update, and now vault creators can gatekeep and put certain requirements on who can deposit in their vaults. They can implement: - A certain token balance requirement (set a threshold here) - Holder of a certain NFT (Can implement a gated route and only allow certain addresses to interact) - Wallet Age Requirement (Add previous transactions checks, a regular user of a lending protocol, etc.) - KYC requirements (serving a specific region) Note: Some of the above are my assumptions, but I think it should be possible to do. There are certainly more updates about the role system from the Vault V1 owner, curator, allocator, and governor roles to Vault V2 owners, curators, allocators, and sentinels. Also, more configurations for Vault Curators to better manage the risk of their vaults. Many protocols are now trying to implement the curator model due to the convenience it provides to the suppliers, as they can access risk-adjusted returns rather than handling their positions themselves. This obviously comes with certain trust assumptions on the curators.
