We're glad to see @YouTube acted to remove Alex Jones' and Nick Fuentes' new channels within hours of their creation. But why were they able to create new accounts on the platform after being banned for many years?
YouTube's recent content moderation changes seemed to indicate that they were rolling back policies meant to curb the spread of misinformation and hate. This sent a signal to bigots and bullies that they'd be welcome on the platform.
