I've found myself repeating the same 5 things to our founders the last several weeks: 1. I've been in the SF Bay Area for 25 years, never seen momentum or an urge to "just do things" like I am seeing now. 2. Being technical is no longer a moat. In fact, many moats are collapsing. 3. Focus, focus, focus. Say no to damn near everything. 4. Significantly pare down the number of events. Opportunity cost is real. 5. Expect the world to change drastically in the next 12 months.
