Ra is one of the most important and powerful gods in ancient Egyptian mythology, associated with the sun, creation, and kingship. He was central to Egyptian cosmology and was often merged with other deities, such as Amun to form Amun-Ra, symbolizing his supreme power and influence. Ra's worship was widespread, and he was regarded as the ultimate source of creation, light, and order.
