Boost data reflects your trading activity on OKX DEX over the past 15 days (Boost volume) and your asset holdings in OKX Wallet (Boost balance). The two metrics are used in OKX Boost events to determine your eligibility and rewards.
To more accurately reflect user trading behavior and prevent wash trading, we apply grouping and multipliers to different token pairs. See “Boost volume rules” for details.
Scope of calculation:
• Only trades on OKX DEX on Solana and/or are counted;
• Cross-chain, CEX, and third-party DEX trades are excluded;
• Invalid trading pairs are excluded.
Examples:
1. Swapping ETH (Group 1 token) for DOGE (Group 2 token) with $2,000 in volume.
Multiplier = 0.25, Boost volume = $2,000 × 0.25 = $500
2. Swapping SOL (Group 1 token) for a Meme token (Others) with $3,000 in volume.
Multiplier = 1, Boost volume = $3,000 × 1 = $3,000.
3. Swapping USDT (Group 1 token) for USDC (Group 1 token) with $5,000 in volume.
Multiplier = 0, Boost volume = $5,000 × 0 = $0.

This may be because the trading pair doesn’t meet the calculation rules, the network isn’t supported, or the data hasn’t refreshed yet. The daily snapshot calculates Boost data from 00:00 to 23:59 UTC. Data is updated daily and available after 00:00 UTC the next day. An additional 1 to 2 hours will be required for data to be processed.
Boost balance currently includes only Group 1 tokens (major native tokens, stablecoins, and liquid staking tokens) held in your OKX Wallet, and doesn’t include DeFi and NFT positions.
Your daily Boost balance is calculated using hourly snapshots throughout the day. For example, if your wallet holds 2,400 USDT worth of eligible tokens for only 1 hour in a day, and 0 USDT for the remaining 23 hours, your daily Boost balance will be 2,400 ÷ 24 = 100 USDT.
The list of eligible tokens may change in the future.

No. Boost volume and balance will only be used to determine eligibility for events. They will not be deducted or used up.
To ensure fairness, OKX reviews user trading volume and holdings. If wash trading or artificially inflated volume is detected, OKX may exclude such data from calculations, revoke event eligibility or rewards, and take further actions in line with the event rules. OKX reserves the right to make the final decision on the event.
Boost balance only tracks the historical holdings of addresses within OKX Wallet. If your address was created with another wallet, such as Metamask, we cannot retrieve its historical records prior to being imported into OKX Wallet. However, any subsequent holdings by the address in OKX Wallet will be included in calculations.
