OKX Web3 Ecosystem Content Policy

1. Overview

To keep the OKX Web3 Ecosystem safe, informative, and compliant with applicable laws and regulations, all users must follow this Content Policy ("Policy"), which may be updated from time to time.This Policy forms part of, and is incorporated by reference into, the OKX Web3 Ecosystem Terms of Service (the "Terms"). Capitalized terms used but not defined in this Policy have the meanings given to them in the Terms. Your use of the Wallet and any of its features constitutes agreement to (i) this Policy, (ii) the Terms, (iii) where applicable, the OKX Web3 Wallet Interface User Agreement, and (iv) all applicable laws and regulations. In the event of any conflict, OKX reserves the right to determine which terms govern the relevant activity.

2. Scope

This Policy applies to all User Content created, uploaded, submitted, transmitted, or otherwise made available through the Wallet, including but not limited to:

  • Images uploaded by users for use in any sharing feature

  • Custom address notes, address labels, and wallet nicknames

  • Any other text, images, or materials that users make available through OKX Web3 Ecosystem

"Content" and "User Content" have the meanings given in the Terms and include anything you post, upload, transmit, generate, or make available through the Wallet.

3. General Principles

  • Respect and Integrity: Treat others with respect. Do not create or share content that harasses, intimidates, or threatens anyone.

  • Compliance: You are responsible for ensuring that your content complies with applicable laws, including but not limited to those concerning advertising, financial promotions, and digital assets, in your jurisdiction and in the jurisdiction of your audience.

4. Prohibited Content

You may not upload, create, generate, share, or make available content that includes or relates to:

(a) Illegal or Restricted Activities

  • Any content that violates applicable laws or regulations in your jurisdiction or in the jurisdiction of your audience.

  • Promotion or facilitation of money laundering, fraud, scams, or terrorist financing.

  • Regulated financial or investment offerings.

(b) Misleading, Fraudulent, or Manipulative Content

  • False or misleading statements about assets, tokens, projects, or services, including altered, fabricated performance figures.

  • Share cards or other content customized in a way that misrepresents actual trading performance, profits, or returns.

  • Market manipulation, "pump and dump" schemes, or coordinated trading behavior.

  • Impersonation of individuals, companies, projects, or other wallet addresses, including through misleading avatars, address labels, or notes.

(c) Hate, Violence, or Abuse

  • Content promoting hatred, discrimination, or violence based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, or any protected status.

  • Bullying, harassment, or personal threats, including through address notes or labels directed at identifiable persons.

(d) Sexual, Obscene, or Exploitative Material

  • Pornographic, sexually explicit, or exploitative content.

  • Any material involving minors.

(e) Intellectual Property Infringement

  • Content that infringes on copyrights, trademarks, or other proprietary rights, including uploaded images you do not own or lack rights to use.

(f) Spam and Malicious Behavior

  • Repetitive or irrelevant content.

  • Content containing malware, phishing links, deceptive URLs, or QR codes directing to fraudulent destinations.

  • Coordinated inauthentic behavior, including the use of multiple wallets, accounts, or bots to artificially amplify content, manipulate perceptions of trading performance, or misrepresent user sentiment.

  • Acting as a paid shill, undisclosed promoter, or spam account for the purpose of artificially promoting or suppressing projects, tokens, products, services, or narratives.

  • Malicious diversion of traffic away from the Wallet or the OKX Web3 Ecosystem through deceptive tactics, spam links, or coordinated redirection efforts.

(g) Misrepresentation of Risk

  • Content that suggests cryptocurrency is risk-free or that any trading strategy, wallet, or address guarantees profits. Cryptocurrency is a volatile asset class and users should be aware of the potential risks before investing.

5. User-Uploaded Images

Certain Wallet features allow you to upload your own images.(a) Your ResponsibilityYou are solely responsible for any image you upload. By uploading an image, you represent and warrant that you own or have all rights necessary to use the image and to grant the license in Section 7.2 of the Terms, and that the image and its use comply with this Policy and all applicable laws.(b) No Obligation to ReviewConsistent with Section 2.6 of the Terms, OKX does not undertake to review, screen, moderate, or verify uploaded images or other User Content prior to their use, and has no obligation to do so. OKX may nevertheless, at its sole discretion, screen, reject, block, or remove any uploaded image or generated content at any time, including through automated means.(c) User-Generated Content NoticeContent incorporating a user-uploaded image is user-generated content. It is not created, reviewed, or endorsed by OKX, and does not represent the views of OKX.(d) Distribution Is IrreversibleOnce you download a share card or distribute it to a third-party platform (such as X or Telegram), OKX cannot retrieve, delete, or modify it. You are solely responsible for content you distribute outside the Wallet.

6. Content Removal and Enforcement

OKX may remove, restrict, block, or report any content, wallet, or account activity that violates this Policy or applicable law. We may also:

  • Temporarily or permanently suspend access to the Wallet or specific features, including upload and sharing features.

  • Disable features.

  • Report unlawful content to authorities where required.

Decisions are made at OKX's sole discretion, and enforcement actions may vary depending on severity, risk, and applicable law. Coordinated manipulation, fraudulent performance representations, or distribution of unlawful imagery may result in immediate suspension without prior notice. Removal of content from the Wallet does not affect copies of that content that have already been downloaded or distributed to third-party platforms.

7. Reporting

To report content that you believe violates this Policy, please reach out to the Support Center. If you believe content available through the Wallet infringes your copyright, trademark, publicity, or other intellectual property rights, please follow the notice procedure set out in Section 7.6 of the Terms, including notices to OKX's designated agent at ip-request@okx.com.

8. Content and Data Disclosures

Content created, displayed, or shared through the Wallet — including PnL figures, win rates, profit calendars, and share cards — is not financial advice, a recommendation, or a solicitation to buy or sell cryptocurrencies. Performance data is calculated from public blockchain records, may be delayed, incomplete, or affected by transfers between wallets, and past performance does not predict future results. OKX does not guarantee the accuracy or reliability of the information displayed in the Wallet, and is not liable for any damages arising from inaccuracies, errors, or omissions.Information may be collected, stored, and shared in accordance with the OKX Web3 Privacy Notice that applies to the OKX entity providing your Services.

9. Updates to This Policy

This Policy is not exhaustive and does not encompass all possible scenarios or prohibited behaviors. OKX reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to amend, update, or supplement the terms of this Policy to reflect legal, regulatory, or operational changes. Updates will be posted with a revised effective date. Continued use of the Wallet following such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.

OKX Wallet content is provided for informational purposes only. It is not intended to provide (i) investment advice or an investment recommendation; (ii) an offer or solicitation to buy, sell, or hold digital assets; or (iii) financial, accounting, legal, or tax advice. Digital asset holdings, including stablecoins and NFTs, involve a high degree of risk and can fluctuate greatly. You should carefully consider whether trading or holding digital assets is suitable for you in light of your financial condition. Not all products are available in all regions. Regarding content provided by users or third parties through the Wallet, including user-uploaded images and user-generated share cards, such content is provided by those users or third parties.
