China's version of the digital nomad website is officially launched! Livable Cities: Help digital nomads, students, sojourners, retirees find suitable cities to live in. In the past six months, I have traveled from China to Hong Kong and Southeast Asia, and I have found that more and more Chinese people only carry a schoolbag and a computer, and either work remotely for the company, or self-media, or trade independently or develop independently. Look for a city with low prices, plenty of food, and a suitable climate, and enjoy life while working. There are very mature groups of digital nomads abroad, including digital nomadlist city ranking sites like nomadlist. But the problem is that overseas Chinese have their own groups and circles, and it is difficult to integrate into the real community of foreigners. So I did this Chinese version of the Livable Cities project I collected the data of all cities in the country (excluding Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan), a total of more than 300 cities, through Baidu map, Gaode map, google map api, numbeo api, Statistical Weather Data, real estate website, Wikipedia and other information sources for data collection, through script + n8n to achieve automatic data collection, as well as AI summary and output. The data dimensions include information such as geographical location, temperature, humidity, local characteristics, cost of living for single and family, catering, renting, shopping, transportation, education consumption, Starbucks, hospitals and other infrastructure, and establish a livability index model (cost of living, quality of life, entertainment, weather, food). In the future, more dimensions will be added, such as the free office location of each city, and details such as Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, Southeast Asia, Europe and the United States, as well as visas.
