The next 6 months were an absolute deluge of slop and low effort garbage posting mixed with engagement groups and extraction crews that materially harmed the reputations of anyone who actively engaged/farmed it. The info platforms have now realized this (some faster than others) and are progressively wheeling out efforts to combat the loss of reputation and overall guttering of quality content on CT. Xeet led the way with targeted slashing of engagement groups. Wallchain and Kaito have made strides in that direction as well. Now we see Kaito pushing out further minimum thresholds and implementing more “real” onchain reputation/history quals as “proof of humanity”/“proof of realness” Having a years-long real onchain verifiable footprint paired with an authentic social profile will be one of the most valuable assets you can own in the second half of the decade.
