With the ingredients they procure, they prepare food for hundreds of people along with their kitchen staff. It's literally a battlefield. 5 The male owner, who oversees the dining area, has a presence that looks just like a Marine, and he is indeed a former Marine, approaching his work with that spirit. Although it might be a bit embellished for the show, from managing the tables to drying the cleaned cups, he exhibits a lot of discipline. 6 Moreover, managing traffic while serving nearly 1,000 customers at lunch is no small feat, but he exudes the unique energy of a Marine and works efficiently. It must be incredibly tough, but nonetheless, business is good, money is being made, and customers are satisfied, so he has a very pleasant demeanor. 7 The black-and-white chef 'Cooking Monster' once asked Chef Ahn Seong-jae this question: "What do you think makes a good restaurant?" Chef Ahn replied, "A restaurant where everyone performs their roles well." 8 A 9,500 won Korean buffet is certainly not a place that offers high-end service; it is a restaurant for the common people where you can have a hearty meal at a low price. I believe the restaurant featured in the video fulfills that role very well as a 'good restaurant.' 9 I think it's a much better place than a restaurant that sells a plate of poorly made food for 20,000 to 30,000 won, caught up in excessive self-consciousness.
