🧵Thread: GTC 30,000 people exhibition, who made you remember them? 1/🧭 GTC lasted four days, with 30,000 attendees and 450 sponsors. Each one was handing out stickers, mints, and pens—these items won't last a day in your pocket. But there are a few brands that I still can't forget. One thread to explain👇
/🔥 NVIDIA x OpenClaw: A Win-Win Situation Jensen Huang is elevating OpenClaw, not just giving Peter a platform—he's saying the era of Agents has arrived, and Agents are running on GPUs. With lobster headgear, Lobster Lager on the big screen, and the entire venue making crab claw gestures, not a penny was spent on advertising, yet the exposure might be greater than that of 450 sponsors combined.
/ 🎒 AWS Backpack: From trash can to audience hits I picked up an AWS x NVIDIA backpack from the trash can and carried it around the exhibition every few minutes, and someone asked me "where I got it" every few minutes. The secret is one word: light. GTC walks for 6 hours a day, and the useful things will not be thrown away, and if they are not thrown away, they will continue to be exposed.
/📸 LiveX Holographic Jensen Huang: The longest line isn't for the booth LiveX has turned Jensen Huang into a holographic AI Agent, spreading across more than 20 units throughout the venue. Some people discovered it can take photos, and social media started blowing up—discovering it can take photos → lining up → posting on social media → more people lining up.
/🍪 CoreWeave Cookies vs Samsung Leather Jacket CoreWeave won over tired and hungry attendees with a truly delicious cookie. Samsung used a 37 square meter booth + AI-generated leather jacket photos, increasing visitors from 1400 to 3000 over 4 days, with each photo being shared for free.
/🧠 The only rule of the GTC exhibition hall is this: Good marketing isn't about telling others how great you are; it's about making others unable to resist telling others how great you are. Backpacks, group photos, leather jacket shots—each one creates a moment that makes you want to share it actively.
