I've slowly discovered an interesting difference.
In some environments, people tend to assume the worst possible interpretation of everything:
When I buy a good item at a low price, I'm asked if I've been scammed; (for example, I bought a 5-day ski trip in France for only $500. Many people think I was scammed because the ski resort isn't big enough! In fact, the resort is very large and great.)
If I casually post a tweet, some 🖤 heartless netizens think I'm just trying to gain attention;
Even when I buy a piece of meat that looks a bit better, someone will ask if the beef has been dyed;
I often go pick up stones, and netizens comment that the stones are radioactive 😩
When I ask for directions, netizens say not to trust strangers or I might get abducted.
It seems that in some societies,
many people assume the world is dangerous and good things are rare (maybe they've been scammed too many times).
But during my time living in Europe, I've actually felt a different state of being 🙏 Many things can be trusted, especially food and daily life. So many people say that Europeans in China might get scammed to the point of losing their pants 🤣 and assume Europeans are very naive and easily believe anything unconditionally!
In fact,
this feeling of being able to trust is quite luxurious!
It allows a person to relax a bit more!
And be more willing! To believe that simple good things can really happen in life! ❤️
For example, this piece of meat was cut from beef and hasn't been dyed with Sudan Red 😅
