Life update: I broke up with a girl I was with for almost 2 years. I had absolutely happy moments with her, as did she. I provided everything I could in terms of financial support (gifts, trips, spontaneity) and emotional support (daily talks, spontaneous meetings, not leaving when problems appeared, communicating, etc.). She lost interest and stopped loving me the way she used to, though. Her priorities changed and, quoting: "I am not able to provide you a minimum of what you deserve. And you surely deserve better." I loved her and I wanted to work on the relationship, but she chose not to. At some point, relationships are like poker. When you get a good hand, you might bet on it... but there's still a chance of losing. I had a good hand.
