the fear that AI will take over workers roles leading to mass layoffs is misfounded imo the real risk here is that AI leads to deeper introspection within companies surfacing how most roles are more akin to adult daycare and the company could be run on half the headcount

ai automation will also definitely lead to redundancy just the bloat is much larger issue
