I hate these naive comparisons. Median home size was ~1600sqft in 1985, & ~2200sqft in 2025. So the house image on the right should be almost 40% bigger. Which accounts for the entirety of the multiple diff. Not to mention featureset comparison, or family sizes smaller now, etc
