I think we're going to see re-bundling very soon. TV went through this - bundled cable packages led to unbundled streaming, but now lots of people pay more for all the streaming apps than they ever did for cable. Now they're bundling again. Substack is an unbundler right now, but we're going to see rebundling (think Dispatch, Puck, Defector, Bulwark, etc) be a bigger thing in the future.

I sympathize with both views here. I'm a Substack writer who depends on it for income, but I also spend WAY too much on a bunch of subscriptions and it's annoying.
