One nice thing about royally fucking up is that you start revisiting all the other stuff you've built over the years and realize how you fucked up there too. For example, my script that pulls data from my node and puts it into postgresql tables...I never had any guardrails in place for when a block that's already been processed becomes stale. Haven't checked my tables yet, but I wouldn't be surprised if there's a few inconsistencies due to having processed stale blocks instead of the ones that actually made it into the heaviest chain. @SaniExp, I'm guessing you never implemented these types of guardrails either?
