The late nights, the thousands of sales calls, the risks, the deals that didn’t work, the sacrifices, the constant learning, the relentless follow-up. Luck didn’t show up first, the work did. Luck tends to visit the people who take the most swings. The more calls you make, the more deals you look at, the more conversations you start, the more “lucky” you appear over time. Most people sit around waiting for the perfect opportunity. The ones who win create so much activity that opportunity has no choice but to find them.
