Mallard ducks can see about 100 million more color combinations than humans can. Masters of a craft have a version of that advantage, too: they perceive distinctions the rest of us can’t yet see. A 10× builder doesn’t just work faster, they notice differently. Call it taste. Call it quality. Call it discernment. At this moment, the key advantage that humans have over AI is two-fold: 1) purpose, or 'what matters?' and 2) that creative edge of quality, judgment and taste.
