Exchanges like these are why I often roll my eyes now when people talk about the need for “civil discourse.” I still believe it’s important. But so many of the folks who moralize about it turn around & talk to each other like this, because being nasty pays dividends. Sad to see.

It’s odd watching Megyn Kelly and Mark Levin compete over who has the moral high ground, because they’ve both made a living relentlessly degrading our national dialogue. And gotten really rich doing it.
