It appears that the left has succeeded into making many people believe that remigration means "Full and complete remigration of anyone who does not have 100% ancestry". In my opinion it is simply immigration going in the opposite direction. Moving from country Y to country X -> immigration Moving back from country X to country Y - remigration. Just like immigration does not mean that everyone in the world immigrates to a country, remigration does not mean that every single immigrant and descendant in the country moves back. But yet, many people will insist that this is what it means, thereby making discourse about the topic very difficult. How do we even have a debate about policies regarding the return of immigrants, if there are no words to describe it?
