Update: I am still battling the IRS for my 2022 tax return. They have said there is no reason the return should be on hold. I now have an IRS tax advocate AND my local congressman involved and his office has been waiting for a month to resolve. I can’t believe a government branch can be run this poorly but I shouldn’t be surprised
