The New York Times reports $META has DELAYED its new AI model, code-named Avocado, to at least May after internal tests showed it still trails top models from Google, OpenAI, and Anthropic in reasoning, coding, and writing. The report also says Meta discussed possibly licensing $GOOGL Gemini in the meantime.
