You really notice the mass psy-op of social media when you have a political tweet that goes somewhat viral and the algorithm feeds the rage-baiters who are addicted to dopamine hits with a black/white view of the world without any knowledge of history or framework for how the world really works. Social media really sucks when you get outside of your comfortable bubble of intellectuals who can generally argue and reason with facts & without anger. If you can stay in niches it can add value but man, when you get outside that....yikes!
