Most browser games suck. So when I saw that @pudgypenguins was releasing one, I was skeptical, but I like gaming and crypto so I thought why the hell not. Honestly, I'm pretty impressed. I saw one of the developers talk about how they built the game entirely from scratch. → No premade assets → Original artwork → No premade engine You can feel that while playing. From the interactive snow to how smooth movement feels. I liked the community side of it too. The proximity chat at the fishing holes made it feel like you werent alone and global chat with people helping each other with quests gave the game a cozy vibe. Being a casual gamer though, I didn’t like the fixed camera angle. My first instinct was to move the mouse and look around properly but you can’t. For the devs: give players the option to switch between fixed and free camera modes. The gameplay loop was fun and the story is basic but interactive enough to keep things moving. I wish more crypto projects put this much care into what they build. Even a silly browser game like this shows more effort than a lot of stuff in this space.
