I like these headshots from @punk9059 I found them after seeing @dapppunk post about them when browsing through the headshots I immediately thought "I'd totally hire Stats as a human photographer", and promptly clicked to create a couple of headshots, including this one

these headshots are great and while I couldn't help but think that a couple of years ago humans would pay good money to a photographer to shoot these types of pictures. I was suddenly transported to a photo shoot I did with @rainerhosch a few years ago to take similar headshots

Ai has profoundly impacted photography, enabling automating technical tasks, advanced editing and improved image quality, while simultaneously challenging the authenticity of images, and raising concerns about manipulation and truth - (I'm not as handsome as this headshot)😉

this tool created by @punk9059 is great, and it sent me deeper into something we've been working on at @obscuradao which largely centers around - How should we ascribe human attribution to an image? In the age of Ai how do we verify that an image was made by a human vs Ai?

for the moment, please go and create your own headshot, they are great and it was a fun experience for me, especially as we see Ai increasingly being used in all business sectors, the impact of AI on photography is disruptive, forcing us to reevaluate what defines a photograph.
