Hundreds of millions of people spent the last decade catching Pokemon on their phones. Turns out they were also helping build a 30B-image training dataset for delivery robots. Players mapped 1M+ locations worldwide to centimeter-level accuracy. ~1,000 sidewalk bots from Coco Robotics now use that data to better navigate across LA, Chicago, and Miami.
