I asked @chetanp how @benchmark is investing in AI: "In 2022, we started meeting entrepreneurs building things with the GPT API's. When ChatGPT came out, we realized this was the catalyst for a shift change across all software. There will be an automated system in the back, either giving you the answer or finishing the task. It became clear that every horizontal software category was back on the table again. Software could also solve new problems, so it created new categories that didn't exist before. And if you were an early stage software investor, this was the best thing that could happen to you. So we decided to focus heavily on AI applications. Everything was up for grabs for entrepreneurs that saw the future."
