Everyone can build their own humanoid robot. After K-Sclae shut down, another open-source humanoid robot company, Asimov, released its robot DIY kit, allowing developers to assemble their own humanoid robots (1.2m, 35kg). The kit includes: structural frame, actuators, motors, sensors, wiring harnesses, etc. It's like assembling a computer, though humanoid robots are much more difficult. I checked the website; the price is $15,000, but shipping takes several months. It's unclear whether people are willing to wait, or will ultimately opt for readily available humanoid robots (like the Unitree G1 and Booster K1 from China). Hopefully, they will succeed.
