A registered sex offender is running for City Council in California as a Democrat California Rep David Tangipa “There is a registered sex offender that has filed to run for Fresno City Council — I understand exactly why this person feels so emboldened to run It is because Governor Newsom and the supermajority in Sacramento have a criminal first agenda. They have passed laws that give criminals the right to come into our communities and the confidence to run for city council. Think about it. There is a law that was signed by Governor Newsom that allowed people who were in prison life in prison to apply for elderly parole once they meet. The age of50 in the state of California is considered elderly if you're in prison. But did you also know that juvenile in the state of California is anybody under the age of 25? So apparently there is a 25 year window where we're normal adults. There are 25 year olds right now in juvenile detention facilities that are with 12 year olds. That is what California looks like. That is what happens when you elect the supermajority in Sacramento that has a criminal first agenda”
