A handwritten card is less legible or aesthetically sound than a printed one. But it's more meaningful and valued. As the printer made technical excellence abundant — value shifted to the higher effort, more flawed, and more unique/scarce versions. AI is going to have the same effect on many things. Counter-intuitively, excellence will be less valued, and inefficient and flawed will be more.
This pattern is of course present everywhere - a vintage porsche is more valued than a superior functioning modern porsche. A hand crafted watch. Original art vs an identical print. Humans create "meaning" and basis for valuing the higher effort thing.
