We should stop calling every chain that claims to be an “L1.” It’s public infrastructure, and the bar for that is extraordinarily high. Ethereum is the only blockchain operating at true public-infrastructure grade: broad adoption, credible neutrality, deep programmability, hardened security, and privacy at scale, etc. DIY blockchain ≠ public infrastructure.
