principles matter. show up when it matters. if you believe in liberty and privacy then say something. and if you *want* to say something but don’t because of “business” reasons then you should really consider if your priorities are in check (looking at you, silicon valley).

half-related, one should be free to agree/disagree on specific points without being labeled as one thing. i agree with dario’s principles on individual liberty and greatly admire his consistency on it. i disagree with many of his views on open source models. bring nuance back.
