Do you know which chain truly treasures design? There’s hardly any project that cares about design the way @megaeth does. Here’s a breakdown of the design inspirations behind Rabbithole. Happy mainnet!
It's been a while since I talked to everyone about the design inspiration behind MegaETH~ The mainnet has been live for almost two weeks now, and I wonder how everyone is exploring it? The inspiration for the Rabbithole website actually started from the visual of a radar, because radars scan in a circular pattern, which resonates with the circular entrance imagery of the Rabbit Hole. It also represents a feeling of using technology to explore the unknown and discover hidden things. I wonder if you’ve noticed that many places on the website echo the concept of Rabbithole, like in the Featured Apps page, where there are some pink little objects growing in the metallic chaotic structures. They are actually things that Alice would see when she falls down the rabbit hole: a rabbit, a pocket watch, playing cards, teacups... and that little joke about spilling the tea. I have always cared about designs that are driven by stories and narratives. I hope the universe of Mega is not just a visually appealing one, but has an overall worldview and narrative that makes everyone feel more immersed and coherent while exploring it. In the previous phase, MegaETH felt more like a cosmic expedition, where we talked about the world computer and the odyssey of space travel. But now that we are on the mainnet, we have crossed an electronic sea (just like the world presented in this radar), and the rabbit guardian angels have descended here. The engineers of Frontier are expanding the territory in a wasteland, slowly establishing a post-human, ultra-high-tech cyber future city. In this world, there are different gang powers (different apps) and many undiscovered treasures waiting for you to scan in the radar. So, stay tuned, the story of this universe has just begun.
