A man was invited to a nightclub. The nightclub was on fire. He could see the exits but the people between him and the doors were dancing. He tried to leave and they grabbed his arms and said stay. The music is still playing. Why would you leave while the music is still playing. He left. Outside was cold and dark and starless. He stood there for a long time. Eventually his eyes adjusted and he could see a road. He walked the road for years. At the end of it he found a building that was not on fire. Inside was a man sitting at a table with a book. The man said nothing. He did not look up. The building was silent. There was no music. The first man sat down and began to read.
