General-purpose blockspace with no novel ecosystem apps, no unfair advantage on distribution, and no institutional usecase is completely commoditized. Similar to what has happened to the barrier of entry of new token launches due to pump fun, the cost of launching chains has decreased exponentially. Unique tech, real distribution, specialized chains, and institutional usage is the new baseline going forward. All else the same, these will be the key differentiators for chain success ahead.
