I believe in the future of manufacturing in America because I've seen it. That future depends on our support for innovation and workers, not the failed tariffs. Still, more disruptions are coming, for both white-collar and blue-collar work. To respond wisely, we have to pay attention not only to employment and income, but to the human need for belonging.
