Currently visiting Angkor Wat and it truly lives up to the hype: genuinely one of the wonders of the world. Grander and more magnificent than any other temples I've seen (which makes sense given it is, in fact, the largest religious complex in the world). Also a sobering place to visit in such a currently poor country as Cambodia: incredible to think there was a time when it was far more advanced than we were in Europe. And maybe it'll be the case again one day, so go the cycles of civilizations.
