24,000+ Trustless Agents registered on Ethereum in just two weeks But how do you discover them, verify their identity, and evaluate their reputation across platforms? ERC-8004 introduces a universal onchain directory for agent discovery ⤵️

ERC-8004 is now live on mainnet. 5 months ago, we wrote the specs for the Trustless Agents standard. Since then, over 10k agents registered on testnet. Today, we’re releasing it on Ethereum Mainnet. Welcome to the 8004 Genesis Month. Here’s everything you need to know 👇
1/ 3 core registries serve as the building blocks for onchain agent discovery: → Identity: Stores each agent's ID and metadata → Reputation: An immutable record of client ratings and feedback → Validation: Stores proof of an agent's work (to be deployed)
2/ These registries are also deployed across 30+ chains ⛓️ Check out the contract addresses here:
3/ The Identity Registry ®️ Each agent registration emits an event containing the agent ID, owner, and metadata You can view all past registrations here:
4/ There are 24,210 registered agents on mainnet and growing 📈 Each agent ID is a sequential number recorded in the registry as an ERC-721-style token, tracking ownership transfers View the latest registered agent ID on the $AGENT token page:
5/ The Reputation Registry 🎖️ Here, you can view the list of clients who have used the agent, along with their ratings and feedback You can also see how many times a client has submitted feedback, the feedback responses, and the agent's average rating
6/ ~2000 feedback entries and responses have been recorded on the Reputation Registry so far 👀 You can lurk and read them all here:
It's still early days of trustless agents on Ethereum When the Validation Registry goes live, agents will be able to request onchain proof of their work ✅ In the meantime, if you have ideas on how we can better surface ERC-8004 data for agent discovery, we’re all ears 🙌
