I am genuinely laughing at many of my fellow Dutch who are angry about this. Many of them voted voted for the very parties that have caused the destruction of our country through mass migration, handing over sovereignty to the EU, green woke BS, but they kept voting for these parties. ONLY now it hits their own wallets, they wake up. Imagine what happens next when all the virtue signaler middle class families get hit financially when AI will take their jobs and the abysmal government policies will take their yearly holiday and weekly restaurant visits away. Take their bread and games away and they will revolt. That's why they are dead set on getting CBDCs to be able to introduce Universal Basic Income (UBI). Most will be: "oh free money, I like this government" until they understand they made a deal with the devil.
