Khanna: There were two different rounds of redactions going on. There was the original FBI redaction in March, where Donald Trump ordered the FBI to “get this stuff cleaned up,” and they were supposed to unscrub that based on the law. They didn’t do that. Instead, they did a second round of redactions at the DOJ. What they’re showing members now is the unredacted version of the DOJ’s redactions—not the original FBI redactions. And so they’re in blatant violation of the law.
