1/ Today is my last day full-time at @variantfund. After a couple great years as Chief Legal Officer, I’m returning to an advisor role and heading out to build something new. More to share on that soon.

2/ I’ve had the privilege of working with @jessewldn since the early days of Variant. I joined as an advisor nearly five years ago and saw the firm grow from a scrappy startup into the powerhouse it is today.

3/ Variant is a special place. Despite being at the center of a noisy industry, I’ve always been impressed by how the firm doesn’t try to be the loudest or most controversial. The focus is on being the most thoughtful, consistent, and hands-on partners for founders.

4/ Every day I’ve felt lucky to work with some of the most intelligent and talented people in the world. That goes equally for my colleagues on the team and all the amazing builders in our portfolio.

5/ I’m proud to have helped so many founders navigate legal and regulatory challenges at the very beginning of their journeys. Variant will keep setting the bar for that work, with my friend and exceptional lawyer-turned-investor @dbarabander leading the way.
