More than 300 former Justice Department attorneys are calling on U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi to let state and local authorities investigate the killings of Alex Pretti and Renee Good, warning that preventing local agencies from probing possible violations of state law in their own jurisdictions undermines the rule of law.
