opened a box of pokémon packs with my son earlier. as usual, gave him a pack to keep for himself. he opened it, no rares. he was bummed out; i reminded him that most packs aren’t winners. a few packs later, a gold charizard ex appeared 😳 i gave it to him 🙃 he’ll remember tonight and that’s everything :)
