SCOOP: As part of Microsoft's effort to "fix" Windows 11 this year, I hear the company is reevaluating its approach to AI on the platform, with plans to reduce/streamline many of the Copilot buttons and experiences found across in-box apps. Copilot and AI will remain an integral part of the Windows platform, but I understand that going forward, Microsoft is going to be more tactful and deliberate about where Copilot shows up across the OS. I also understand that Windows Recall is being reevaluated too, as its current implementation has failed to resonate with users. Microsoft still thinks the concept is strong, so it might evolve into something else down the line.
