#Germany’s economic stagnation is having an increasingly strong impact on the labor market. The number of unemployed has risen by 177k in January MoM to 3.085 million, the highest level since 2014, and the unemployment rate increased from 6.2% to 6.6%. However, on a seasonally adjusted basis, the picture is more stable: the unemployment rate remained unchanged at 6.3%, and the number of unemployed stayed below the 3 million mark.
