PSA: If you don't own & control the communication conduit to your audience, you can be censored by the corporation sitting between you & that audience. If you built a social media following rather than an email list or podcast/RSS audio feed, you can be silenced at the flip of an algorithmic switch. If you don't own and control a *direct* communication conduit, the corporation positioned between you and your audience can shut you down at any time - and there's nothing you can do about it. Email and podcast feeds aren't perfect either, but they're just way more resistant to this kind of shadowbanning. I've been warning about this for a long time. My bet is that this warning will soon be more relevant than ever.
