Lots of people discussing gold and silver on X lately and still don’t know why they are rising. It’s not inflation related. Gold is +80% and silver +230% in the past 12 months. Copper is making all time highs. Platinum and tin have also reached all time record highs. My suspicion is that massive AI infrastructure demand is driving a lot of this. All of these elements are consumed in the infrastructure buildout. Silver has the biggest supply crunch and it also has the solar growth goosing it. Gold is basically being dragged up by Silver. Gold is increasing about 1% for every 3% increase in Silver. Gold doesn’t have the same industrial demand as the others.
