AI isn't coming for your job. It's pushing you to evolve. Some say "Use AI or get left behind." Others say "When everyone uses AI, those who don't will be valued for their authenticity." Both of these will be true in different ways. People who use AI will unlock speed and efficiency, building solo brands and businesses that would have needed a 10-person team just a few years ago. There's going to be an explosion of possibilities. Others will reject AI and create art that goes in the complete opposite direction. They'll be slower and more deliberate, and they too will have a market. But you don't 𝙣𝙚𝙚𝙙 to be creative to thrive. There's also going to be a space for reliable, professional people who build "boring businesses." People who are exceptional at the trades and the human aspect of things. Millions of Main Street businesses built by boomers will change hands in the next decade, and 70% of them don't have a succession plan. That's an opportunity for the non-tech professionals. This is not a war. There's going to be room for everybody, and I'm hopeful about what's coming up. But AI in the room is the wake-up call you need.
